ESPN Fantasy Projection: Johnson signed with the Browns following April's draft after a tumultuous 2024 campaign spent with Carolina, Baltimore and Houston. Johnson remained a heavily targeted receiver during his seven games in Carolina (8.3 targets per game), but his output was boom/bust (19-plus fantasy points three times, but fewer than six points the other four weeks) and he was then traded to and released by the Ravens prior to landing with the Texans. Things went very poorly in the final two stops, as he totaled three catches in five games. Johnson enters his age-29 season set to compete with Cedric Tillman for No. 2 WR duties behind Jerry Jeudy in an offense that has major question marks at quarterback. It's possible he could find his way back into the flex discussion (he finished in the top 40 in PPG four straight seasons from 2020 to 2023), but it's more likely his days of fantasy relevance are over.
