Training camps have kicked off around the NFL, and our team reporters are on the ground each day following all the action. The Philadelphia Eagles' camp is taking place in Philadelphia, and Eagles reporter Tim McManus has the latest intel on standouts, highlights, position battles, depth chart movement, cut decisions and, of course, the quarterback room.
What follows is everything we are seeing and hearing at Eagles camp. We will file often with the latest updates. Who are the breakouts to watch, especially for fantasy football? And which players on the roster bubble could make the final 53?
Let's get into it all, and be sure to keep checking back for more information until the first full week of the preseason begins on August 7.

First-round pick Jihaad Campbell is not only acclimating to the NFL but is getting a crash course at multiple positions. He has lined up at weakside linebacker and middle linebacker, where he'll call plays, and is also getting some reps at edge rusher.
"It's a fine line that we're trying to manage. We're probably a little guilty of putting too much on his plate but time is coming," defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said. "Days are disappearing."
Campbell is embracing the challenge, saying that "pressure is a privilege."
Campbell continues to get first-team reps with Zack Baun (back) sidelined and appears in line for a role in Fangio's defense right out of the gate.

The offense started drives in the shadow of its own end zone most of the day to work on backed-up situations, but that didn't stop Jalen Hurts and the passing game from having a strong outing. Hurts leaned on DeVonta Smith a good bit with A.J. Brown (hamstring) sidelined. On third-and-6, Hurts and Smith connected on a pass along the left sideline in front of Cooper DeJean for the first down.
Quinyon Mitchell came up with his second interception of training camp, making a good read to jump a Tanner McKee throw. After practice, defensive backs coach Christian Parker responded "Yes" when asked if Mitchell can become one of the greats at his position.
The biggest splash play came from QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson and receiver Giles Jackson. The two connected for a 50-yard touchdown. Jackson adjusted to the ball flight at full speed and came up with an over-the-shoulder grab that got Saquon Barkley so excited he sprinted onto the field and jumped into Jackson in celebration.

On a day where A.J. Brown (hamstring) was sidelined and DeVonta Smith (back) was limited, Jalen Hurts sharpened his connection with tight end Dallas Goedert.
The play that stood out was a pretty back shoulder ball by Hurts down the left sideline that Goedert hauled in while being defended by rookie linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. The two have been in sync for the most part throughout camp, and that continued Sunday.
More:
Edge rusher Joshua Uche is starting to make some noise. He put tackle Kendall Lamm on his back with a speed rush before "sacking" Hurts.
Cornerback Eli Ricks, fighting for a spot on the roster, has elevated his play as well. He had a couple pass breakups on the day, including one where he denied the red-hot Elijah Cooks on a throw from Tanner McKee.
Tight end Kylen Granson had his best practice of the summer. He stole the show with several catches over the course of one series, including a toe-tap grab along the sideline on a dart from McKee.
Friday, Aug. 1
Saquon Barkley put on a show.
The reigning Offensive Player of the Year ignited an offense that had been sagging over the last few days. He jawed with safety Reed Blankenship after a long run down the left side early in practice and didn't let up over the two-hour session, making one highlight play after another before getting facemask-to-facemask to smack-talk defenders.
Barkley finished with two rushing touchdowns while providing a reminder of what things look like when he goes full throttle.
More:
Barkley wasn't the only back that was active. Will Shipley beat Jihaad Campbell for a touchdown on a wheel route.
The defense had plenty of good moments as well. Blankenship came up with a pass break-up on a Jalen Hurts long ball to A.J. Brown in the corner of the end zone; Azeez Ojulari came free on Hurts' blindside to register a "sack"; rookie LB Smael Mondon Jr. stayed stride for stride with Barkley on a go route to force an incompletion; and Moro Ojomo pushed Tyler Steen into the backfield and knocked the ball out of Hurts' hand.

The offense is definitely missing receiver DeVonta Smith, who has been sidelined the past three sessions with what the team is calling back tightness.
Jalen Hurts' efficiency has gone down following a hot start. Most notably, he sailed a throw during an end-of-game situation that was intercepted by cornerback Eli Ricks. There were some highlights as well, including Hurts' dime to tight end Dallas Goedert on a corner route, but the slip in production is a reminder how valuable Smith is to the operation.
More:
Hurts' backup, Tanner McKee, made some nice throws Thursday, including back-to-back darts to Cameron Latu and Johnny Wilson over the middle.
Rookie CB Mac McWilliams continues to impress. He had a difficult pass breakup on a Kylen Granson comeback route.
Outside corner Adoree' Jackson got the bulk of the reps with the first team but Kelee Ringo continues to come on. He nearly intercepted McKee on a deep pass intended for Darius Cooper.
Late in practice, edge Jalyx Hunt and defensive tackle Jordan Davis pierced into the backfield to blow up the play and register a "sack" on Hurts.

Training camp gets fans up close and personal to the teams they love. And then some. Take Ben Warren, a New Jersey resident who was behind the end zone taking in the action. He watched as quarterback Jalen Hurts ran in for a touchdown and then flipped the ball in his direction. The only issue? The ball came in hot and hit him in the nose, drawing blood. Warren spent the rest of the session dapping the blood with a towel, which is going to end up being a pretty sweet souvenir.
"[Eagles' senior adviser] Big Dom comes up and goes, 'You all right, buddy?' It made it even cooler," Warren said. "It's a pretty awesome story."

The first interception of camp came courtesy of cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. Jalen Hurts underthrew a long pass down the right side for A.J. Brown and Mitchell took advantage, hitting the breaks and pulling in the pass with one hand. Covering Brown has proven problematic for the defense this summer but Mitchell has had the most success to this point, staying stride-for-stride with the dynamic receiver for the most part, including on multiple reps Monday.
Mitchell is looking to build on his highly successful rookie campaign. His responsibilities are expected to increase in Year 2. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has him playing on both sides of the ball in practice, getting him ready for when he needs to shadow the opponent's top receiver.
More:
- Standout defensive tackle Jalen Carter returned to practice in a limited capacity after sitting out the first few days with a shoulder injury.
- Receiver Elijah Cooks made a highlight play for the second day in a row, elevating for a sideline grab with Adoree' Jackson in coverage.
- Receiver DeVonta Smith did not practice due to back tightness. Hurts leaned on Brown and Dallas Goedert, who came up with some nice grabs, including one over the middle where he extended to haul in a pass with rookie Mac McWilliams tight on him.

If you're looking for an Eagles player who could make a leap this season, keep a close eye on defensive tackle Moro Ojomo. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio will lean on the third-year player to help replace the production of Milton Williams and has to be encouraged by what's seen to this point.
Ojomo spent a good chunk of Saturday's practice in the backfield applying pressure on quarterback Jalen Hurts while working primarily against right guard Tyler Steen. He registered a "sack" on Hurts and later batted down one of his passes. Philadelphia hasn't put on pads yet, so no need to get carried away, but there was a lot of internal buzz around Ojomo this offseason and his performance has done nothing to quiet it.
More:
Hurts didn't have his best day but dialed up a pair of red zone scores to wide receiver DeVonta Smith in succession. He later zipped a ball deep down the right sideline for A.J. Brown, who shook off tight coverage from cornerback Kelee Ringo to haul in the pass and then tossed the ball high in the air in celebration.
Ringo has given up a few big plays through the first days of camp. Most have come against Brown, one of the best players in the league, but his performance is worth monitoring as he competes with Adoree' Jackson for the outside corner spot opposite Quinyon Mitchell.
The practice ended on a highlight play from former Jaguars receiver Elijah Cooks. He fought through tight coverage from cornerback BJ Mayes and made a nice grab along the left side on a pass from rookie Kyle McCord, getting a roar from the crowd and his offensive teammates.

Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has designs to expand Cooper DeJean's role in Year 2. DeJean, whose star shot up following his pick-six of Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX, has been getting looks at safety in base packages to go along with his nickel corner duties. Fangio said he'll get reps at outside corner as well, as he searches for a way to keep DeJean on the field at all times. "I love a challenge," DeJean said after Thursday's practice.
"I did it a little bit in college, switching back and forth. The coaches are going to do what's best and put me where they think I fit best within the defense, and I trust them in doing that."
More:
Edge rusher Jalyx Hunt has been getting a lot of love from his teammates early on at camp. Left tackle Jordan Mailata said he "has tendencies like Micah [Parsons], to be able to cut on a dime like that," adding that Hunt is "going to be a star." Fellow edge rusher Nolan Smith struck a similar tone, saying Hunt was going to be "the best thing since sliced bread." The Eagles need someone to step up following the departure of Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat, and Hunt is the primary candidate to do so.

Training camp got off to a positive start on the health front as first-round pick linebacker Jihaad Campbell practiced in a limited capacity and participated in some team drills. Campbell is coming off shoulder surgery and wasn't expected on the field until sometime in August, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said earlier this offseason, so he's ahead of schedule compared to at least that public timeline.
His involvement is all the more significant given Nakobe Dean will start camp on the physically unable to perform list as he continues to recover from a torn patellar tendon. First-team reps alongside Zack Baun are up for grabs, with Jeremiah Trotter Jr. getting first crack at it Wednesday.
More:
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter (shoulder) and guard Kenyon Green (knee) did not practice. The team is not expressing any long-term concern with respect to either player. Center Cam Jurgens, who had back surgery this offseason, was limited.
Kelee Ringo got the bulk of the first-team reps at right corner. He's competing with the likes of Adoree' Jackson for the starting post. A.J. Brown (who gets the best of just about everyone he goes against), elevated and snagged a sideline pass over Ringo for one of the day's top highlights.
Slot corner Cooper DeJean saw some time at safety when the Eagles were in their base package. Fangio said they'd experiment with that look earlier this offseason to ensure he has the best players on the field at all times.
